Love this, always after other POVs for playing these guys. Definitely gunna try a list where I don't run both SoC and Magnus I just love both units and feel cheated leaving one (SoC) out

Hey, thanks for the video. I think you misunderstood some points. I just checked the tactic you suggest, to go with a disc sorcerer to spend the 2PC Strat to obtaining indirect fire with psyker units and go back with a warptime. However, the warptime is usable at the beginning of your shooting phase, so you can not using it after having spent your 2pc strata for indirect fire. Then, according to my understanding, the retreat of the magus is screwed up. Secondly, you're eligible to indirect shooting with "psyker models", not with the psychic weapons of your rubric/termis. Am I right ?

i've been playing Mag and full scarab with crystal since i started... the evaporate everything. Ahriman keeps on getting played solo, i use him to keep obj and generally he's the very last one to be targeted. Also i thought echoes of the warp could only 0 out battle tactics stratagems... are you sure it's not a typo?

As someone who just got into Warhammer, I really want to build a Thousand Sons army. I keep hearing they aren't that good, but they look GREAT! I love the Egyptian influence, as well.

Just had a watch of the video and read the rules you point out I think you are right on both points. First point it does state at the start of the shooting phase. Unless this is in an errata? Second point yes so seems a steep price as you can maybe use it for a character and the squad sorcerer. As it states the bolt guns etc count as psychic attacks not that the models become psykers

Magnus is 440 points, not 425. Am I missing something?

I mean if you really need to, magnus could potentially triple move should you need to really get him from 1 side to the other. Ive done this rather then move him twice and spend 2 cp on warp sight.

You can only use 0 CP strat on Battle Tactic - So Devastating Sorcery - or other standard strats. But you cannot use it on Warp Sight. I like the list with 3 MVB.

So fuck playing against 1000 sons, too many dev wounds and too many rerolls, period. And the no armor save thing is fucking ridiculous. It's just the kind of thing to make people step back from the game.
