Learn 'How to Play' Under Falling Skies. I cover all the rules for the full standalone game but do not spoil any campaign content.
This is a quick and comprehensive rules overview. What I try to do is cover all the rules, including the latest errata at the time of recording and BGG FAQs in a short amount of time as possible. Of course, while still trying to remain clear.
These videos are not a rulebook replacement. They have 3 goals:
1 - As a refresher, if you haven’t played the game for a while and need a reminder of the rules
2 - For a brief overview of the game if you’re going to play it for the first time
3 - As an alternative to a review style video to see if the game is for you

Thank you for clear, straight thru rules. Just picked up the original printed version after couple of years so the video brought back the rules with out reading... my brain is getting lazy... we're all goin to be brain dead!

A great quick solo dice rolling game. Look's like the "for sale" version took it up a notch, I would say it is absolutely worth playing. Game can also be played together with another person as a co-op, you just need to have a good argument why your move would be better than the other persons.

Honestly, I wasn't even sure if I even liked the game. Just got it yesterday. I always don't like a gane until I understand it. 😁 Thank YOU!

A very clear and straightforward video, thanks. I do have one question; when a die is placed in a room in order to move the digger, is the room action also activated or would this be considered as a double action (moving the digger and, in your example, creating energy)?

Thanks for watching! Moving the excavator in room phase is the whole action, you don’t active the room you placed the die in.

Remember you only activate rooms behind the excavator

@@JestaThaRogue where do you place the die when moving the excavator? You place say a 5 and then it moves 5 places but do you place the die where you are moving the excavator to then move the excavator there and remove the die? Thanks for the video.

Hi. Yea, put it on the space where you want it to go up to the value of the die.

Does anyone know how rooms with several types work?

You fill all rooms with dice as normal, then apply the total with modifiers applied to each ability in those rooms. You don’t have to do them all and they can be done in any order.
