About the game....
In Whistle Mountain, take your company's massive profits from all of that railroading and invest them in new technologies, deep in the Rocky Mountains where there is an abundance of resources. Your workers build crazy arrays of scaffolds and machines, upgrading your abilities and collecting resources. As you build with the help of your airship fleet, the mountain's melting snow causes the water below to rise higher and higher, putting workers in danger and increasing the tension on the dynamically-changing board.

I always preferred rules videos than reviews, not to learn how to play but to understand the mechanics before buying. I Dont like opinions. But when I have played a game and need a refresh (especially on heavy games), this is where I find such videos really helpful. Thanks for watching

Firstly, the rulebook says when moving a worker, you may not place it on a scaffold space covered by a resource, which seems to be done mistakenly at 18:30 (of course you weren't explaining the "move" rules at that point so...) secondly, I'm not sure about this one but at 15:07 you mentioned that the gained awards after promoting workers "...are not activated or used at this moment" while the rulebook says the bonus actions can be performed "at any time during your turn: before, during, or after your main action" . . . and last but not least, you did an amazing job teaching the game. this is the first video I've seen from you and I must give it to you that the visualizations you used, especially showing how things are activated with different placement of airships, was great. kudos on that!

Hi Saman, Thanks for your kind words. Now to your points. You are right. I missed the rule about the worker placement . If you used the klingon subs, you probably saw my annotation when i am explaining worker movement. Unfortunately as you noted , i also do this misplacement as well. So I now added an annotation there as well. About the award use timing again you are right . I probably confused it with sth else. again , I just added an annotation. Sorry. Excellent video. We played it for the first time tonight. I have a question: -You mention at 15:00 you may have more than one award token on any one level of the tower. When would this be possible? When can you add an additional award token to the tower?

It is pretty likely possible that the rules meant only the first level. I misunderstood that this could happen through card play or other effects. I checked the bonuses in the rulebook and did not find such a bonus that adds awards to the tower. So you are probably right. I will add a subtitle to the point. Thanks for the comment!

Just a quick question: what is the benefit of moving workers from the left tower inti the scaffolding section? Does it matter where to place them to gain any certain benefits? Thanks 🙏🏼

You ll be wanting to build machines on top of them so they move to the right section and grab bonuses
