The strategy I use when I have a +4 and I want to place it down is to only put the +4 down if I have ONLY two colors remaining. For example let's say I have blue and green cards ONLY, I put down my +4 and the player who has the option to challenge will be shown the options red or yellow, cards you don't have. Then they'll have to draw the usual 6 or however many cards they must draw. That's just something that works for me, hope it helps.

i had ONLY blue cards, i put draw 4 and said red, the opponent challenged and said they are right and forced ME to draw cards. i dont get the challenge +4 rule AT ALL in uno mobile

@@maianhvu9781this is late but if you have all 4 colors don’t put down a +4 because if the person challenges it then you’ll have to draw I think 4 or 6 cards, it’s best if you only have 2 colors, this doesn’t mean they still can’t challenge the card and get it correct it just decreases the chances that’s all, for example let’s say you have a +4, red and yellow card, you place the +4 and the Edson challenges you but they challenge for blue, you don’t have blue since you have those two colors so they have to draw instead of you but if we change it and you put the +4 and had a blue and green and they challenge for blue then you draw, does that makes sense?

The concept of "challenge it" is to guess if the person who threw +4 either have or don't have the last color card (before being chaged). Let's say the latest card was red. Then, you want to switch to green. However, you don't have red cards. So, the person will guess if you have red cards or no. If they choose yes, then they will pull 6 cards and skip their turn. But, if you have red card and pull a +4 over someone. When someone choose YES, YOU are the one who pull 6 cards. It is because their answer is correct, you still have red cards. Also small tips, when someone have cards more than 10 or even more (especially on wild mode), it is very likely that they have cards of all colors. Therefore, it's possible that your guess will be correct if you click yes (as long as they never discard the last color)

Masih butuh penjelasan ga kak? Intinya konsep "challenge" ini menebak apakah lawan punya warna kartu sebelum yang sebelum diganti itu. Jadi misal lawan ganti dari hijau ke merah. Nanti pertanyaannya, apakah lawan masih punya kartu warna hijau. Kalau tebakannya benar, berarti lawan punya kartu hijau. Kalau salah, berarti lawan ga punya kartu hijau. Kita harus cerdik aja sih kak waktu pakai +4 dan sebisa mungkin hindari pemakaian di awal kalau di mode wild. Kalau ada yang lempar kartu +4 tapi kartunya banyak banget (lebih dari 10-15 kartu), kemungkinan buat tebakan kita benar itu lebih besar jadi gaada salahnya buat coba challenge, selama lawan belum discard/lempar semua kartu satu warna secara bersamaan. Paham konsep ini jg berguna banget kalau lagi di side-to-side waktu partner sebelah kita ga punya kartu wild biasa tapi mau bantu habisin kartu warna yang kakak punya. Misal kakak punya [+4,+4, hijau] terus warna sebelum diganti itu [merah]. Partner kakak punya nih kartu warna merah, tapi dia bantu kakak buat ngabisin kartu hijau kakak dengan pakai +4 dan ganti warna ke hijau. Jadi kakak tinggal klik "Yes" waktu ada pertanyaan, nanti kartu partner kakak nambah dan kakak bisa habisin kartu hijau ituu tanpa harus numpukkin kartu +4 karena pasti bakal diganti lagi warnanya sama lawan. Jatuhnya jadi ga aman karena partner kakak mungkin cuma bisa bantu itu aja 😀

I used the challenge, but had to pull 6. Person I've challenged had uno with a yellow 1. He picked yellow but I still lose.

@@Moloc2230 The challenge hinges on what the color was **before** they put down the Draw +4, and you didn’t provide that info in your comment. The only way you would win that challenge is if the color was already yellow when your opponent played the Draw +4 ie if the color was already yellow, and they played a Draw +4 instead of the yellow card in their hand, then you would win the challenge.
