Great lesson. Absolutely love Bob Seger and this one especially. One thing for playing the stretch would be to use the ring and pinkie for the A and D string though it is not a bad stretch

Watched the lesson, loved it, and was going to comment, but first read the other comments and pretty much was going to say the same things everyone else already said. Your teaching style is great. Wish you lived near me and I'd be paying you for lessons. Canadians, in general, just have a great attitude and way about them that is so pleasant. Thank you very much for the lesson.

I like your teaching style Shane! One observation: I don’t think the F#minor/E chord is correct - try using an A major with C# (ring finger on 5th string 4th fret) and open low E. Sounds more like the original song. Cheers!

First, no disrespect to this person's tutorial and great attitude. BUT, just finger the F#m/E basically as you would with a F#m - using your pinky and ring finger on the A and D and bar G B E with index (think triad - google it if you don't know what that is as it will be important in you guitar future). It is more ergonomic. Play enough guitar with poor body and wrist and you will be googling 'ergonomic' in addition to 'triads'.... Using this recommended dropped shoulder and bent wrist to reach is a habit you will be sorry you picked up later in life on your barre chord journey as you may be able to reach a chord this way but you will never develop speed to change chords if you need to do body gymnastics to achieve certain forms. Again, no disrespect to this thoughtful and friendly tutorial. Thank you for taking the time to create this video #bobseger #ifyouarefrommichiganyouhavetoknowabobsegarsong
