I’ve been on snap since 2013.. I’ve used it almost every day for normal communication with friends and family and for the life of me I couldn’t figure this out. Thank you so much

Thank you sir! You know, they really should make this easier to do on Snapchat. They should allow you to just copy and paste a link to specific stories in chat instead of having to take a photo and adding a widget.

Is the private story already created? Also are you saying it sends it to the members rather than it posting to the story itself?

Can you remove people that you don't want on your private story? Like for example, you post on your story to join, and some person joins and you don't want them, can you remove them?

Once you create the story, any time you go to post it"ll show up as an option to post to it

Hm that is strange. Usually the person who created the story won't be able to attempt to add to it but others should be able to swipe up and join.

You won't be able to swipe up on it personally, but you should be able to view the story you post

idk if its bugged for me, but when I do this it doesn't create a story. It just creates a sticker that does nothing. No one can join. I feel so dumb lol

Hmm that is strange. Sometimes it'll look like that to you just because you created the story so you're technically already part of it, but to others they'll be able to swipe up/click on it and get the option to join

I'd say to first make sure you have the latest version of the app and that your wifi/phone signal is good

Usually it'll show as joinable to the people who view your story when they swipe up on it
