Hi grubby, why don’t you use 3/4 crushed stone instead of that road base? I always use 3/4 Crush. I understand that the crushed stone allows water to flow and it allows water to settle, but the “a-gravel” as we call it, packs really nice, but get soggy when wet. Crushed stone stays dry as it allows for the water to run thru it. Thanks for your input brother. keep on grubbing on
@GRUBB-MUDD
@GRUBB-MUDD 6 ай бұрын
It just depends but if there is no way for water to get under it then i prefer this base. Everytime i use just crushed stone i get setteling

How many yards was this? In Ohio if you don't order at least 4 yards they charge you a $150 delivery fee. We are about $6 - $8/sq.ft here. It it's a smaller job you can't charge by the square foot, so it's pretty much a $1,500 minimum for any job.

I also don't charge by the square foot! I do it by the amount of days or I calculate concrete price and multiply by 3 and that usually works pretty good, I'm not the cheapest but go the extra mile! And it's going to turn out right!
