I agree with what you are teaching here, but for most of us, we pay per game and it's difficult to practice that way at the lanes.

Bowling is an expensive game (for 90% of us). I would 100% recommend joining a leauge so that you can play more often and (like my centre) get discounts on bulk practice games...

Some lanes will promote a flat rate for an hour. Might be cheaper.

Yup pay by hr for practice. My centre also has a practice mode you can set up different pin configurations which is great spare shooting

@@kylemc8851He's talking about the logistical end of it. I just got done with a two-hour session and paid ten bucks for it....I went from two steps all the way up to my normal five, a line and change each. When you're paying five bucks a line (or more, ESPECIALLY at Bowlero joints), that adds up REALLY quick!

I’ve been bowling 50 years and no matter if I take 4 steps or 5 or where I start my approach I can’t get closer than 18” or so to the foul line.

If you have carpet, tape up two pieces of paper together at each end as portrait for your sliding foot. Never tried that but the video is available on this channel when Shannon O'Keefe explained practice drills for home.
