I needed to hear this... doing inductive Bible study for the first time in my life.. been struggling because I feel so stupid, my ex charismatic "pastor" told us over and over again that we cannot understand scripture without him 😭💔 may God have mercy on me and teach me how to rely on Him and the Holy Spirit, instead of leaning on my own understanding.

What a great reminder or our dependence upon the Lord before, after, and at every step in our sermon and lesson preparation. May those whom God raises up and gifts to teach His people never forget dependence upon Him! Thanks so much Dr. Lawson.
