I like to wash in the shower, but I don't like it when I'm in it too long and I get lightheaded. I washed my hair in the sink before, but ima need someone to wash my hair for me because even though I feel like my hair is clean going through every crevice....girl...its not 😤😤😤

Thanks for sharing!!! Looking forward to seeing how your loc journey goes. I’m also planning to loc my hair in December...I completely agree with using the sink to wash my hair and hating the feeling of wet hair in the shower 🥴 lol 😂

Thinking I’m going to start my locs this weekend, this is my first time having them so wanted to see if i needed to do anything special to prep & glad to see it’s no different than a regular wash & condition but how do you twist the back of your head?? I’m going to do coils but I’m nervous I won’t be able to get the back of my head straight enough🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾

I bend over my bathtub to wash my hair! I can't do the sink anymore...took to long! I hated trying to wash it while taking a shower...

I can’t fit my fat ass head in my sink so I gotta go with the shower lmao

I prefer to shampoo in the sink and then rinse out my conditioner in the shower. This way I've got most of my shedding out already when I detangled with conditioner before getting in the shower so less hair clogging the drain. Also I like washing the conditioner out with the flow of the shower head.

After you washed your hair! You put those hair products back in your hair before your starter locs? I thought your hair supposed to be dry before starter locs?

That's what I read too 🤔 just a clarifying conditioner and very little natural oil. Idk I guess to each his own.
