I went thru a 2 day class on the proper way to give a deposition about 25 years ago when our company was being sued. It was quite informative and I never forgot it. I am glad that you are putting your video out their for the general public.

If you were in FL, I would have definitely used your firm for our case. Thanks once again. For someone who wants to listen to this series my advise to you is to listen to this for at least a week. I wrote and listened to all the points and I got tripped with some of the questions. You really have to listen and think because the other lawyer is doing everything he can to trip you. I was the plaintiff in a lawsuit against a police department. A case which I won. During trial, several officers' testimony conflicted with their statements at deposition. They were trapped into obvious lies. Nothing ever happened to any of them.

Then there's Rudy's theory on truth, "Truth isn't truth;" which is 100% correct when in court against the same opponent Rudy's up against. An opponent that suborns perjury by forcing innocent men to plea to crimes they did not commit. An opponent who gleefully takes food out of the mouths of ten-thousand, only to be overturned 9-0 by the Supreme Court. Truth is a distant memory for that most litigious opponent in the history of mankind.

I have a lot of respect for the precise, calm and commanding legal eagles I've watched do depo's; in a weird way those who are very good at it remind me of one of the best journo's Louis Theroux

There are games that attorneys play back and forth. They try to rush questions so you feel rushed to answer. They may even have the judge state that there is only 10 minutes left to question so we need to see how much we can get in. Then the attorney asks the questions quickly and seems upset that you are taking too much time to answer. It all a show. Certain verbiage is used so that everyone in court but the clients know what is going on. Especially in Family Court.

THANK YOU for this easy to understand logical presentation. I am concerned about deposition even though the defendant stole large some of assets of mine. She set the stage before the theft to bring my credibility into question before ensnaring me. It is a civil issue she exclaims, not criminal! I expect my character will be attacked. Visiting a board certified old attorney today to prep.
