Did you loved competitive programming or not? can't get tackled problem for a hour this gets me motivated ,but i strive harder but errichto said just devote 30 min when u are beginner what should I do spend 30 min or much more

30 mint is less for good questions. you may require a max of 2 hrs. After that, you can see the solution.

How frequently(avg) did he refer to editorials for solving those hard problems considering that he has done more than 360 hards on leetcode? How much time(avg) did he spend on a particular problem by himself before consulting the editorial(if he ran out of ideas)?

1st Question: To be frank, I do not have any number to quantify this. But the requirement to refer editorials decreased as I practiced more and more. 2nd Question: For me, it mainly depended on my mood while solving a problem. Sometimes I used to give 1 hr, some times an entire day, and sometimes I used to drop the problem for a while, solve some other problems and then come back to it.

Amazing video . I have learnt a lot in this video. You said ki Quant companies ka off campus main different procedure hota hai? But do quadeye, graviton, world quant, alphgrep, APT, etc hires offcampus? If yes, Could you please make a video when they hires and what is criteria and how should we make it to the interviews? Please do answer it , I really wanna know that being a Tier 3 college student , Can I also make it these amazing companies?

for which role does the hft companies pay more system role or quant role? what is the pay difference?

They pay same to the freshers Whereas the bonus part carry more weightage toward the quant profile from the next year.

No, not possible in on-campus placements. Some HFTs might allow non-circuital but it isn't usually the case. You can try off campus if you have a strong profile. Another option is, you can go to a smaller HFT and after some experience, you can switch to bigger HFT.

Nsit se hire kiya tha quadeye ne but different profile ke liye and salary was also not up to the mark. They only hire from top 6 IITs after graduation. But I have seen people going in HFTs after few years of work experience. Not sure about the salary they were offered.

@@frustrated2520 That is based on NIRF ranking. FYI, they hire from IIT Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Guwahati and Roorkee. They prefer less to Madras, only because IIT Madras mainly consists of South people and they prefer less to shift North India.

Yeah ofcourse they do hire mtech... Hfts basically needs the best coders(programing roles) so if you are able to surpass a guy of b-tech... You are the one who joins them. Just top-notch your skills

MNC of IIT Guwahati is as good as iitg cse. You will get same placement opportunity as compared to cse. Overall curriculam of iitg mnc is also better than other college mnc.

Maybe they can....it is a race and all can participate in the race ....but the thing is a top iit cse guy will get to enter the race with a good car, other branch guy iit guy with a normal car, newer iit guy with a bike, top not guy with a scooter and tier 3 guy on foot with an extra 50 kg load on the back.....the race distance is same for everyone.....its upto u , if u can beat the guy with the good sports car on foot with 50 kg bag on ur back, then of course u get into hfts

Depends on college. I don't think Graviton and Quadeye hire PHD candidates. But there are various high-paying companies in Europe which hire MS and PhD candidates (speciality in maths). So they will consider you as you have maths background.
