It is manufactured by grinding the gypsum rock into a fine powder and then heating that powder. All this process is performed under specific temperature and controlled conditions.

How to best perform the vibration task MANUALLY as to prevent porosity? I don't have a dental vibrator.

Though it is not recommended but if you don't have a dental vibrator just tap with hand while poring dental stone.

What can I do as to not get any air bubbles?

1. Mix well according to the proportion 2. Check if the impression or mold is clear and free from particles or water 3. Use dental model vibrator machine while pouring the plaster.

@@DentalEducationHub thank you for the reply! I’ve just started studying dentistry and our first practical task was to prepare a plaster dental model which will be graded… I’ve made like 8 models and all have air bubbles, which is a criteria that makes you fail the task. They told us to spray the mold with some kind of liquid that makes it easier for the mixture/plaster to flow in it… so when you spray it, it shouldn’t be too wet but also not completely dried. I will definitely try your method with the tilting. I have to succeed today.
