Had no idea this was necessary until I contacted Home Master due to limited capacity in tank. They sent me the link to the video and I now get full capacity flow again. Super easy process.

I followed the instructions: Shut off the feed water valve, drained the tank and pumped out any remaining water before pressurizing to 7.5 psi. But when I reopened the feed water valve the water doesn't do the "thin stream" shown in the video; instead it does fast dripping. Is this dripping considered close enough to the thin stream that I shouldn't be concerned? It says "once you observe the thin stream" to shut off the RO faucet. Does the "once you observe" part mean it's sometimes necessary to leave the feed valve open a long time before the fast dripping becomes a thin stream and the RO faucet can be turned off?

Hi, I'm having a bit low pressure (not terrible, but just lower after I changed the filters). I have an 8 year old r/o tank from Culligan that I just re-pressurized. I emptied the tank, re-pressurized with the valve closed to 7 psi, and the pressue is still pretty low compared to before the filter changed. I also noticed this morning that the tank barely had any water in, and it's been filling since 3pm yesterday 3/5/23. Is it possible the water was used filling ice all night. Otherwise, I cannot figure out why the pressure isn't that grate. Also, before the filter changed, I could fill 1 pot of coffee with water and by the end it would be slowing down quite a bit. I'm wondering if I need to replace the tank...thoughts?

Please review the weak pressure troubleshooting page 8-10 in our owner's manual. It will alow you to DIY determine if you have a production problem or a storage problem. And it should be applicable even to a competitor's system (more or less). Pumping air from a manual tire inflator pump does not contaminate the tank?

It's a sterile, air-tight bladder whose contents (the pumped air) don't mix with the water.

no there is a rubber bladder inside the tank that your inflating with air to pressurize the tank. the air you pump in does not touch the water.

Where is the video for the "SANITIZATION PROCEDURE" and is it the 1st step every year? In other words, is STEP 2 "STORAGE TANK PRESSURIZATION PROCEDURE" followed STEP 3 "FILTER CHANGE PROCEDURE?

The tire pressure pen starts at 10 PSI. Am I looking at this wrong?

Some automobile tire pressure gauges start at 10 or 20 psi. This application calls for a bicycle or ball gauge that starts at zero psi.
