It's not that hard with no furniture in the way. Watch out for roller marks, though. I can't tell you how many bad paint and spackle jobs I've seen done by "professionals".
@AYEEEDION Жыл бұрын
This guy is probably either using a broken 1 1/4 inch nap or a new 3/4 inch which would be very bad on smooth walls, because it would leave a very strong texture from using an app that size, no matter how far you stretch that paint and plus those walls probably been painted more than a dozen times so I know there’s possibly a text from them already. The next couple videos I produce on my channel are going to be the best snaps to use on walls and ceilings in the sizes

@vamp000423 жыл бұрын
The sad thing is most colored paint has primer in it so you are better off just painting with the color right off the bat and doing two coats. I've found when I use white primer first I end up painting it three times due to the color not going on evenly during the first coat. So you end up doing one coat primer, two coats color as opposed to just two coats of color. 🤷

Some guys call it „loading the wall“ You spread the excess paint from your roller all over the wall and spread it evenly from there. Depending on the size of wall you’ll either dip more or less pain to have an even layer. This guy doesn’t seem to paint for a very long time yet but he’s learning

@@doug8237 I am a civil engineer from a family of contractors. I would fire anyone painting like this. There are great differences in coverage but also drying time which affects opacity and uniformity but also texture direction issues because the roll has to be rotated to fit even architectural features of typical size. Even with 3x the total layers it cant get the quality of proper technique.

@johncolquhoun64163 жыл бұрын
That will need a second coat. Just do one wall at a time. Lots of paint at one end and thin at other. Still hard work tho, good job.
@Jlymansackhead2 жыл бұрын
I’ve been painting professionally all of my life, and I never try to one coat it when changing colors. That’s amateur stuff. If you leave that much paint on the walls you’ll leave too much texture and it will look unprofessional. I don’t care what technology the paint says it has, I always plan for two coats for color changes.
@adamnonnenmacher77742 жыл бұрын
It’s primer, it doesn’t matter if it’s not perfect coverage. The goal of primer is to basically block out the underlying coat. His top coat will look perfect on top of that primer.
