LMAO ... i bought one of the original ones that you showed in the beginning "the green one", i had exactly the same issues with that one, at first no paint until a few minutes of rolling back and forth until the pad was fully covered, then...i added a lot of paint that i thought i would need to finish a room, big mistake..it instantly began leaking and running everywhere like yours did, i think its actually a decent idea gone bad.. i found in a second attempt that if i only filled it about 1/4 or so full and made sure i flipped it horizontally quickly i could use it as the commercial shows it, but it just wasnt practical as i still had to refill it a few times to do a couple walls, Love the channel and your personality, keep bringing your style, and i'll keep watching : )

Helene Ahern You can only use water based paint and actually add water to your paint so it‘s easily and evenly distributed. You don‘t have to put any pressure on that roll if you‘ve put enough paint in it.

My neighbour has that item and he painted his whole house using that roller. I don't know how the hell he did it, but he had no problem with that roller.

First can I say I love all the outfits that match the project you’re doing! Second I agree it’s the same thing I almost bought it and I had that damn green one in my garage because it didn’t work but I think it’s the same technology. Doesn’t matter though I still watch your videos because I love to laugh and keep doing what you’re doing we all love it!

What a great surprise! Another GREAT video. I remember the green product commercial...it always seemed to good to be true. Thank you for proving it is. Made me laugh yet again. Though, I must say that you were much calmer than I would have been with everything falling apart and leaking everywhere. I would have been freaking out hardcore. 👍😄

I actually have this and it works amazing!! I painted my entire kitchen, living room and hallway within a hour and 1/2!!!! You can not wash it and pour paint in it because the sponge will absorb the paint quicker that is why it leaked on you!!!

She dried it though? I'm confused because I'm thinking of buying something like this because my neighbour said it's great but she did say the mistake she made was that she didn't wash it first. I'm assuming you have to wash it before use to get rid of the loose fibres on the roller.

You have to put water in the roller first and run it through. Then tip it out, add the paint and the damp roller absorbs the paint easily. I just bought one and testing it out in the next two weeks so will let you know how it goes. Try that then redo the video if it works 🤗

I'm so GLAD I just watched this video as I was about to use this product to paint my sitting room, ceiling and walls. Won't be using it now, will use the old fashioned, hard bloomin work, roller but at least I won't get covered in paint!!

I don't know why people think that painting with a regular roller is such a PITA. Use a liner in the paint tray and wash the roll immediately upon finishing and there are no problems. This thing seems like way too much trouble than it's worth. Definitely pass! Thanks Vivian for shutting down the negative advertising on this one.

As a professional painter/decorator these diy paint tools always crack me up!!! The infomercials always claim you will get professional results... Well I’ve never had paint spilling and dripping out of my normal rollers... lol But great vid as always!!!

I just posted the same thing! Everyone should know it it would have to be wet. It doesn't take a rocket scientist! I've seen several she's given bad ratings I've known she didn't use it anywhere near correctly and it was common sense! SMH

If it sucks it sucks and We'd all like to know it but if it's a good product in you don't use it correctly and say it sucks that's not fair! It's not fair to the maker of the product people who have a big following on KZfaq make a lot of money and they have the responsibility of being correct when they get on here and do those things. It's this little thing called integrity! I don't think he does this on purpose I think she's just being life because she's gotten such a big following and she likes to be funny so she's gotten a little lazy and sloppy. I don't think it's done in malice

I got the roller/bottle combo from home depot to paint a shelf. It worked amazingly, and for $5 I was very happy! I'll stick to that one for the price

I honestly think it only leaked on the quart size container because you didn't have it on the arm and didn't have the other end cap on. and then that caused it to drip/leak all the excess paint it still had all over that area after you put it back together. But I agree the other end cap (not where it gets filled at) should not be popping off every couple of minutes, Unless it's one of those caps that have to be put on a specific way to "lock" into place, but even those are annoying as hell!... but even if i had this I would have to go buy a handle for it, I don't have a broom with a detachable handle, I stopped buying those damn hunks of junk b/c the broom end kept falling off! I even super glued one, lasted a couple months and went right back to falling off, I went to Dollar General and bought me a real damn Straw Broom - Witches Broom - what ever people want to call them - The old fashioned kind lol
