How to Print and Bind a Book | EASY TUTORIAL! | Printing PDF Curriculum at Home

This video is an easy tutorial for how to print and bind a book at home. This tutorial is for when you're wanting to print 1/2 page sized books instead of full-sized books, which is useful for printing the readers and books used in The Good and the Beautiful Language Arts curriculum (PDF editions) as well as other PDF books.
I'll show you how to bind a book at home easily, after using the booklet setting and double-sided printing to get the pages printed off correctly. I hope you find this easy bookbinding tutorial useful!

Great idea! Automatic double-sided would be AMAZING! Our printer is about ten years old and not at all near dying...but if I could automatically double-side papers, it'd be tempting to replace it. LOL

We have gotten a lot of use out of this stapler! Not as fancy as a binding machine...but most of the time we're just making books for the kids...no need to be fancy!

It definitely takes more brain power to fight, but is almost always worth it in the long run. We have recently been getting into some of TGATB curriculum and love it so far, so far just electives like typing and art. You made binding look easy. :)

Trust me, I understand how scary it is! lol! Intimidating for sure because you don't want to mess it up, but in reality...it's not as scary as it first appears.

I know you made this video a while ago. Im about to start using it for my books but have one question. Is the page that had the front and back of the page cut or folded?

All the pages were cut in half, then I used the tape for the binding.

How do you get books on pdf from the good and the beautiful?

The books that are the readers associated with their Language Arts programs come as PDFs when you buy or download the digital versions of their program. The reader I show in the video is part of the high school LA level 1 or 2, I can't remember at the moment.

That's what I thought. After all the videos I've found about different bookbinding methods.... this is by far the worst one. I'm sorry for the time she spent doing this, but this is really improvable...
