Hello world, In this video, I've shown you how to get your large illustration or any design printed in large size using your ordinary a4 printer.
This method is one type of life hack so should only use for your personal projects, school projects, crafts, home decor etc..
You will get your artwork split and then join them after printing.

I did everything you have said. But overlap only creates a gap on top and bottom but on sides. Is there any reason for that? Thanks for the video.

Is it possible in Mac to save it as a PDF instead of printing when we are printing in a shop for example?

In my case most of the options are greyed out, eg- Media size, Copies, Scaling, Placement etc

Thanks, when I group two object which are different layers, they will group into one layer so how can I separate these two object to their original layers? Or is there any way to prevent thease objects from group into one layer?

Once grouped you can't revert same as before. You will need to move them manually back to original layer. And no, there is not any way to group different layered objects keeping in separate layers.

You can create sublayers though. Which is bit different from groups.

Can you do this with large vinyl prints on big printers too when you want to overlap the last sheet you printed

Yes, Ai gives you files as shown in video then you are free to choose your print methods.

Haha right but regular printer won't accept paper larger than A4. Will it?

@@vectorslategraphicdesigntu8991 Actually that its possible, Purchase the complete sheet of paper (100 x 70 cm) and cut it to the width given by the printer (A4 or letter) by the length of the sheet (1 meter). Then setup your printer to the new size.
