Dijon is a fairly niche artist so I know this video is unlikely to get good views but I made it anyway because his music is amazing. Dijon is one of those artists that have been so cool to see grow and experiment with their music. I still think 2014 by Abhi/Dijon is one of the best alternative RnB albums ever and Dijon really just continue to knock it out of the park as a solo artist. Him helping Mk.Gee evolve his sound is also going to be really interesting to see going forward.

That’s a completely fair opinion man, I hear you on that for sure. The story arc of Dijon is always evolving and it’s always interesting. The mk.gee scenario is so sick too, I actually listened to his music first and it’s a rare scenario of they both have equally benefitted from working with each other. this was an amazing video man. i’ve loved dijon for a couple years now, and have come to understand how to get the sound esc, but have never really gotten to break down what he does. i’ve just experiemented through a lot of productions. emotions in his voice is a big thing. usually less tuned than what others might. also overdubs which are never really quite on point. i’ve havent read the reverb interview, so thank you for bringing that up! will definetly check it out

I’m so glad I found your channel I have an AKG C414 XLS and I’m working on a project. It bothered me that my vocal presence sounds so different from many popular songs but you just changed my perspective and when listening back to my tracks, it can be a staple of my sound and another thing that makes my sound unique.
