Today I will be sharing with you update of our guppy fish. As you know, I have four different tanks of guppy fish and each tank has tuxedo guppies. Since I started breeding guppies, I already harvested about ten thousand guppies already. Imagine how much money you’ll make if you sell them at 10 pesos per guppy. My mum kept fish, some fancy goldfish and a separate tropical tank. I remember the guppies would have lot's of live babies - it was fascinating to watch them as kid's. She used to take some of the young back to the shop and swap for another fish or two. We used to get some lovely colours and fin lengths - it wasn't a serious thing, just a hobby. I used to keep goldfish a while ago, I think I'll try some guppies this time around instead... thank you for my little trip down memory lane, that was a pleasure to watch😍

Your videos are so informative. This is amazing. I used to have lots while living in the Caribbean. My uncle created a pond and just breed and grew naturally. Now living in the US, its something I always wanted to get back to but couldnt find really informative video and then stumble upppon your channel. Not to denigrate those who breed show fish in any way, but THESE fish are, for me, the epitome of the pure joy of keeping fish. Colorful, active, interesting, hardy, rewarding. I've bred for form and color. These fish are just pure joy.

It is wonderful to see how the hobby has been of great benefit to the community in helping the average person make a living by breeding and raising quality Tropical Fish. Our higher cost of living here, in the US, makes it harder for us to benefit in the same manner. I wish you and all of your neighbors continued success. Your fish are beautiful and very healthy.

That’s right, that and the weather. Here in england it’s funny you could buy mosaic dumbo guppy in a pet shop for around £2-3 then you could sell the same fish online for around £15-20. But like you say it’s a shame because what a way to earn a living but it just wouldn’t pay the bills here

I started a remodel 7 months ago which left my guppy tank untouched for the entire 7 months. No water change, No adding water, No feeding, No filter for most of the time once the water level dropped far enough the filters stopped. My guppies are just fine! I completely cleaned the tank, stirred the rock, siphoned about 90% of the water, cleaned filters and got them running again and added my new water with Prime. My guppies are thriving. The tank is heavily planted which i think is what kept my fish alive. Theres even a ton of babies swimming around! Ive had this tank running for approx 3 years.

great video. thanks for the information sir. question, how do you know you have given enough food for fishes ? how many times do we need to feed them in a day and when ? for every fish, does the water that being use to replace the old water (after syphon) need a 3 days old water or can you use new government water (faucet)?

I know how easily Guppies can breed, as I have now got a tank full of the little rascals! Apparently they have got the nickname of millions of fish. Im gonna have to upgrade to a larger tank I recon, but i enjoy the hobby, and love to watch them swimming about.

Sir , goodmorning my friend give some of his guppy , but as i notice his guppy was not a pure line anymore , its a mix breed , is it ok to have a mix breed guppies ?

It depends, mix breed can be expensive and can be chea0 at the same time, first you need to see what is the mix, they an be a low grade mix such as assorted low grade guppy mating with a low grade endler will result in a low grade mix babies. But if for example you had a grade A albino red kou mate with grade A tuxedo red eye guppy they will get pretty grade A babies that are unique. You also need to see what the market wants. If you want them as pets and you like how they look anyways then why bother know whether they are a mix or pure and what grade

Yeah, it is tough to find many different types. Sometimes I see some really nice ones in Petco or Petsmart. But one has to be there at the right time.

First things first, get a tank that is reasonably sized for how many fish you have. For every inch of fish, a gallon of water. Get a water filter appropriate for your tank size as well as a water heater and a thermometer to see the water temp. Next buy yourself some substrate for the bottom of the tank and some decor! I like to buy real plants because they help balance the O2 levels and other toxins in the tank. I also like to buy a certain type of fertilizer substrate to keep the plants healthy. I also love to keep shrimp with my guppies because the shrimp clean algae and whatever leftover food there is that the guppies don't eat. Don't forget to get a light for your tank to help the plants grow! Hope this helps friend!
