This has to be one of the best how-to videos on KZfaq. Short, direct and to the point. The only things to add might be: if it doesn't work after following directions change the battery. If it still doesn't work, get a new remote.

Im trying to mate a chamberlain universal remote to my odyssey 1000. Not working. Any tips?

Why can't I find instructions about how to reset an existing remote? We lost one of the remotes and don't want people to be able to access our home so we need to ensure that one doesn't work and reprogram the one we still have.
