This key fob will work exactly like your OEM equipped key fob and can be equipped with or without remote start. Haha sorry! Cost aside it’s a cool upgrade. My OEM key fobs rubber was getting tacky. So this was a welcomed upgrade.

Is the range/battery life any better? My 2017 fob will barely function from a couple parking spaces away unless the battery is less than a week old.

I did not test the range and I would suspect battery life to be the same because it’s the same battery. My OEM key fobs are 5 years old and they have the original batteries.

Does it look easy to clean? My biggest complaint with the old one is they get so dirty real easy. Also, do they seem like theyll rub off like your old one is.

This is definitely feels like it’s a different material than my original ones. It seems like it would be easier to clean. The problem with the older styles is the rubber wears out and gets “sticky.” Too early to tell with the new one tho.

@@fondupot Damn, they have a 25% off sale going on now, you can get the remote and programmer for $90, but if its potentially going to wear out the same, ill just save the money. Thank you.
