Thanks! The instructions show that it needs to have a two-digit ID. After watching your video and seeing only one digit is needed, the programming went well.

Thank you I was missing the part about letting your garage close all the way. Purple button code: 3 After you press the learn button then enter your code again. LET THE GARAGE CLOSE ALL THE WAY. Then enter your code and it will work. My issue was i didnt let it close all the way. So the code wasn't programming. Let the garage close before you hit another button.

I did this a few months ago when I bought the unit. ####0 worked to open and close the garage door, every time. Great! All of a sudden today, ####0 opens the door. But it doesn’t close it. Now it’s ####0 plus any other key to close it. What’s up with that!?!?

What if my old 2001 ChalengerGL opener has no "learn button"? There is an original keypad I'm trying to reprogram since I just bought the house.

Not sure. You may have to buy a challenger wireless keypad. Does it have dip switches? I believe Wayne Dalton owns them now.

How do you sync the clicker and the keypad?

What kind of opener do you have? The clicker, sync with the opener same as the keypad. Here is example, its a Genie opener, but it will be similar. They all program pretty similar, just the number of times you hit the button will change. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Y91jqJeXybuUXYU.html

Do you enter the code on key pad while the light on motor is on for 30 seconds or do you wait until light on garage door motor goes off then enter code on keypad?

You just need to wait for the light on the keypad to go out.

No. Slides up and down to access keypad, while also concealing mounting screw at the same time

Do you get any lights when you hit the buttons? May want to just put fresh batteries in if you haven't used it in a while.

@@HomeRepairHub Yes every button's light flashes, but it just stays lit up rather than blinking until I release. I only noticed this after a 2 month vacation so I havent used it in a while. I'll try switching batteries. Thanks!

Unfortunately the Klik2U can only be programmed to 1 door, so you would need a second keypad.

Unfortunately, yes. Pretty much any aftermarket universal remote requires the code.

@@HomeRepairHub The one I have now does not. I was gonna replace it because the buttons don’t always work anymore but if I need to enter the code to close it, we’ll, that’s just dumb.

Unfortunately, there is no easy way. I had the same issue. You just have to use a bit of force when trying to slide it off.

My garbage ass product won’t even slide open. It’s honestly very annoying. Nobody, no matter the video seems to have a stuck clicker. You started your video off with an open one. Clearly it’s not suppose to be hard to open. It’s like they sent me mine glued…

I can be a bit challenging to open but shouldn't be that difficult. You can't pinch in on the sides or it won't open. The cover simple has to slide off and if you put any pressure on the sides of the cover it won't move.

@@HomeRepairHub Turns out they sent me a faulty product lol. I had to pry it open with a knife then I had to sand paper the grooves to allow the casing to open and close smoothly. So I got it done haha but it was for sure faulty! Thanks for the reply my guy!

i had the same problem, i had to use three knives to get it unstuck and open it. I took an exacto knife and shaved some material off the inside cover and used a bar of soap to help it slide
