This is a legit video. This is cuttage or twin scaling. Thanks to this video I just learned about this propagation. I don't mind waiting for the little bulblets to grow and mature. I have waited for off sets to grow and produce flowers right along with the large bulb. This is so exciting to learn this different method and what a wonderful way to produce more expensive and unusuals bulbs at a fraction of their original cost. There are so many different varieties and with patience and time I now can produce more bulbs to fill my home. I love growing Amaryllis they are so beautiful. 😍 Thank You for this education.

Yup! Done the right way, we can certainly propagate all those beautiful bulbs that we buy from vendors. Especially, the Dutch bulbs.

Love amarylis. Your method looks great. But it takes so long for the bulb to form and store enough energy to bloom. In my experience anyways

Split them in warm weather & they do take like 2 - 3 years to reach maturity to bloom.

Very good information.Question Please. We have a stem with bloomed flowers (the stem got flatten out in shipping) and can't stand up without a lot of support.) If it breaks off can soaking the stem in water regrow roots like with some other plants? Thanks in advance and very nice video. Philip

Keep the pot in a cool place, and the ideal temperature is 25 to 32 degrees

They are not from the same bulb! They are different varieties for show. If you split from a single bulb you get only the same type of flower as the mother bulb. Only if you used the pollen to cross-breed with other flower bulbs would you get different colours.
