I literally burst out laughing when you were pumping the shock and said "oh yeah I know what you're thinking" then it climaxed across the room! Might be the most funniest, unintentional thing I've seen on KZfaq!!

You need a better camera view like a close up pointing down it's hard to see what you are talking about with this camera view.

You don’t need to let the air bubbles out ?

Everyone says something different about the rebound.
@shadowhobbies5 жыл бұрын
it depends if your racing or bashing, the video I did was more about bashing, and I should have stated that

@@shadowhobbies what if you fill it and get no rebound and can't no matter the level,, bum brand new shocks??
@iamjvdbvdb67592 жыл бұрын
@@MrBumbles2 push the shock shaft halfway up and then put the cap on. this will create pressure in the shock wich makes it rebound
@LOSCABOSLIFE2 жыл бұрын
@@shadowhobbies That's interesting. So then what would be the rebound to look for if setting up for racing and not bashing? I'm new to racing. Appreciate any advice. Cheers from Houston, Texas
@shadowhobbies2 жыл бұрын
@@LOSCABOSLIFE so for bashing you really want rebound, racing you want it to be neutral, there are vids on that I didn't do one

if the shock doesn't return back once it's compressed can it be that the oil used is too thick? I have 10mm bore shocks and I tried 400cst oil, once I got rid of the air bubbles the shock doesn't extend back when fully compressed.
@shadowhobbies2 жыл бұрын
THE OBVUIOS 1ST, bent shaft, or warped or out of round piston, dent in bore of shock,or weak bubble bladder ,40wt fluid should not be the issue

Ah... Cycling.

Lmao, so in reality to maximize the gromets and rubber seals life we should store our rc cars upside down to releive the pressure. 😅 why dont we put them on the other way?😕.......wait i know its because dirt and debrees will settle on the seal and wear it down faster... ok nevermind lol.
@shadowhobbies2 жыл бұрын
the shaft seals wear fast,when you say the other way are you talking about the bladder? if so you would have an airgap that would be hard to get rid of,dont forget to subscribe!
