The main thing before lubrication is to disassemble it down to the screw, wash everything with alcohol, dry it and only then lubricate and reassemble it; there is no need to periodically open and lubricate it. This lubricant will work 100% for 1 year, and completely disassembling the mechanism once a year is not so difficult. The old lubricant will ruin everything in a week and the new one will not help.

Congratulations your reel will spoil tomorrow 😂 please do not do this on all reel😅 some shimano and daiwa reels like mine have technology to prevent salt water from going in and damage the reel so please do not open the reel like what the so called tutorial shows.

Well.. I think those who have expensive coils will not go into the interior on their own. Expensive Shimano and Daiwa require maintenance every 3-5 years. Cheap and medium - more often. Therefore, you have nothing to be afraid of in a reel for 20-50 bucks, there is no protection from water by default) In many Shamino there is a huge gap near the rotor
