Probably one of the best videos I’ve seen. Not a word of bullshit. I’ve been on and around boats all my life and I’ve worked in a harbour for 4 years and I took the lines of a lot of yachts in that time. Thats exactly how i would tie the ropes. Only thing I would say is I’d lock it twice but that’s not really necessary especially if you have good weather.

When I have an inexperienced person helping me dock I always give them the loop side of the line.
