Thank you this took a lot of the pain out of other wrapping tyles and lessened the bulk on the palm of my hand plus it works for boxing gloves and mma gloves

This is the right way. You covered all the areas for the wrap and most importantly, YOU KEEP THE PALM OPEN. All the other ways keep your palm closed and you can't make a proper first. Good stuff. I learned something, bro.

@@coffeemusichall7781 if you have your palm covered with the wrap, the wrap reduces the space and flexibility for your fingers to clench together and form a solid fist

the key point is: - protect the knuckle (upper) as much as you can - the palm doesnt need much protections since it wont touch anything - the wrap between your finger just to keep the upper tight - do wrap your thumb a bit more if you need

This is an old school boxing style. Sometimes people start with the thumb but either way imo its the best way.

I'd day that way is for people who have a lot of punching power but also good form and well developed forearm muscles to hold a tight fist. For beginners I'd recommend a wrapping style with less knuckle padding and more support of the middle hand and wrist to prevent boxer's fracuture of the meta carpal. But to each his own

This way of wrapping actually appears to cross over the back of the hand more times, and over the wrist more times, protecting the metacarpals well

I’m box professionaly and I can tell you this is the best way to wrap that line in the middle where your palm is you use that as grip your suppose to grab and to that believe it’s a lot better and your hands get a lot more air
