Thank you sir!! Excellent tutorial. Keep up the good job. Nice to see an operator that takes pride in his work.

Never knew side shifting the circle with the blade in float worked that well, I was taught to push the blade down on one side and pick up on the other but that rips up the ground.

Just learned this way of pitching the circle and boy is it handy compared to tearing up your surface. Love the videos keep them coming !

Appreciate the videos. Used to run a 140M for years at my old job and am finding that I miss it. Another thing to watch for swinging out like this is your steps. Seems like every grader out there that's a few years old has mangled steps and this is likely the reason. Really easy to snag since you can't see them unless you stand up.

Yes that also is a very good point thanks for pointing that out glad you appreciate the videos thanks for watching!

Awesome thank you Been binge watching your vids trying to get a better understanding on blading gravels, only have a couple days in the the Cat 140m3 Any recommendations on blading only from the direction of travel, our county does want us driving into traffic Thank you for your time

Your welcome glad ya been watching the videos and as far as blading with traffic I’d set up the same way as I normally would just have to stay with traffic if ya got any other questions ask away.

I'm afraid I'll rip up a hydraulic or grease line if I do this. Lol I may give it a shot the next time I'm in a blade though. I only just got comfortable pulling the center pin and changing the holes on that.

You do have to be a little careful while doing this but they have all the hoses run so you can roll your blade out good luck if you try it thanks for watching!

You grease the circle? Cat does not approve of that...
@graderman140m11 ай бұрын
If you read your operator maintenance manual it recommends you grease the circle drive pinion so that’s why I do it never had any issues greasing the pinion so will continue to grease it.

Could you do this with a 24m?
@graderman140m11 ай бұрын
Yes you can I don’t think you have as may holes in the drawbar but ik you can still retract the saddle pin and change your drawbar position
