Isn't this dangerous in fact? 1. Since you need to get in place and position, they can see you coming if they know boxing. 2. If you succeed, won't this do REAL damage and buy you an assault/manslaughter charge, since clearly you know how to box thus your hands are "deadly weapons"? Even if you point at the chest to be safe, you risk breaking a rib or the breastplate. Is it worth the legal risk?

I prefer to B-Slap my opponent into the face sending him flying twenty or thirty meters often ending with him/her crashing into a brick wall. My technique is ridiculous and my power is significant. That is usually enough to deter them before I have to throw the hammer down. Just my two cents. Your ideas pretty good too though.

I prefer to launch my ultimate technique to catch the opponent off guard and at the same time paralyze him in pain. It's kind of like a one hit one kill kind of thing. It basically targets men's ultimate weakness therefore it only works on men. It's very powerful so I tend to use it as a last resort type of thing.

I prefer to slide down my shades and give them a shot of my piercing "Blue Steel" look. It stupefies them and drains all aggression and bad intentions from their bodies. They usually want to shake my hand afterwards to thank me for setting them straight. Sometimes I oblige them sometimes I just push my shades back up and slowly walk away.

The end of your punch (or kick for that matter) should be like a whip reaching it’s full explosive potential, and you should drive THROUGH, not to, your target. The reason why many people’s punches are not straight and extended is because they or their target moves closer or farther away from them between the time you initiate the punch and the time it arrives. Quickness counts more than strength, but preferably you have both.
@aqeefizzudin1062
@aqeefizzudin1062 6 ай бұрын
I trained by myself but this is sure to come in handy btw like the first tip, you need to punch straight and steady. Ball up that fist and stiffens your hand second tip is to turn your body with the punch that you are throwing and third tip is to exhale your breath when punching and inhale before throwing another punch so that your body wouldn't get too stiff when throwing a punch and some of the energy you used will get recover back (slightly) and for the 'secret tip' is like my first one, STEADY and STABLE. When punching, you need to have balanced and control over your body and body weight to ensure a direct critical hit. Plant your feet on the ground with stability also exercise for more power, practice for more accuracy and experience

Moving your feet/using your weight and momentum is a requirement, but, those who are just learning also have to learn that the back foot needs to be planted to generate power. Too often beginners will move their feet and then lift up the back foot when throwing the punch. 👊🏿

Tony likes knocking that thing down for dramatic effect, I think (otherwise there'd be water in that base, like there's supposed to be 😉). You want a powerful punch - do it like Tony's showing you - but hold yourself back for a split second, then SNAP! Your whole body has springiness in it, so it's like pulling back on a rubber band, and then letting it snap, and that sudden release of tension will add velocity to your arm & fist.

Maybe I am wrong, but the 4th suggestion is the opposite of what i was tought, but it makes sense in that you lose balance and all the weight of the body goes in the punch. They usually say to move first the forward foot and then the rear foot: in this way one should be balanced but with less power. Really interesting, but correct me if I am wrong.

we do that in karate.Turn into the punch, driving it with hips and legs , "throw your butt at him"'. Kiai- explosive exhale tightening the core muscles so the power goes into him, rather than rebounding. Also- as you know well- punch through the target, not to the surface of the target.

I thought this wouldn't make an honest difference, but where I needed my heaviest jab to knock down my cardio bag. Now if I just get some momentum I can do it the same with a light one. The only thing is, I think the final step where you bring your legs together then step forward might be inconvenient. As if you randomly do it, it will easily alarm someone. Then you can get countered, instead I'd do short side hops all throughout. Then when your gonna actually punch, just side hop into their guard. They won't be as fast to react, due to thinking your just in your idle stance still. Doing the side hops also keeps you continuously focused, and cause your constantly in motion your basic jab is gonna be more destructive.

Alot of boxing gyms are like that ! it used to be around 105 or more in one gym I taught at.. the overhead doors Could have been opened to let air In but the owner was adamant about making the guys sweat and work extra hard so he kept it shut..there was so little air in there, the space was small and the combined body heat of 15 or more guys drove the already brutal temps even higher! it was literally a hell box... I was in my late 50;s at the time and believe me, it was tough, even for the young guys but man, at my age I could barely stand it..while there was no AC ,there could have been air allowed in and I was against the owners logic here becuz it was Not improving the students, they were Less capable since the oxygen had diminished and the room was full of CO2..It would have been More productive to open the overhead doors and let the air in,even though it was hot as hell, it would have brought oxygen back into the room..no boxing gym ive ever been in had AC ,nor swamp coolers running.. they were Always old school and all about the Work...zero attention was given to making the enviroment hospitable,let alone comfortable....LOL

I believe your shotput example is way out in the left field, we have a new shop put guy who ads in a spin or something to get more power into the stone and he was getting very close to the end wall of the event, so not sure your example is a good one but lets me be honest I can't punch with any power and even when splitting wood with an Axe my dad would get me wound up so I would get more energy into the swings. But each to his own.
