I also used the hoverboard motor on my new project electric scooter but needed to make the tires bigger. You will see this change in this video.
In this video I show you how I mounted the 6.5 inch hoverboard motor to an 8 inch frame.

You said you were looking for ideas! kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bdF9odRj27qceXU.html I live in Thailand and the idea of hotels having their own fleets of personal EV's is extremely popular. A large 'wheeled' yet elegantly simple step on/off electric scooter for 2 people definitely works for me! Those fat road tires limit your project pretty much to urban use so a 2x Adult scooter could make full use of those big pneumatic wheels... no messy suspension required! The 1400W combined power of 2 of your "8 inch wheels", I think you mean 18 inch by the way... would be awesome! Let me know if I can help!

Çok yakında test videolarını yükleyeceğim. 2 Adet Hoverboard motor 350 watt 1 adet 8 inç atv jantı 1 adet 18*8.5-8 inç yol lastiği 2 adet 10mm alüminyum levha vidalar..vs...şimdilik malzemeler bunlar. google yazdın mı fiyatlar çıkıyor, ben fiyat yazmıyorum her gün değişiyor... Thanks... I will upload test videos very soon. 2 hoverboard motors 350 watts 1pc 8 inch atv wheel 1 piece of 18*8.5-8 inch road tire 2 pieces of 10mm aluminum plate screws..etc..that's the stuff for now. When I go to Google, the prices appear, I do not write the price, it changes every day...

How would you make sure they both spin the same direction could you show wiring process please

There are two methods for this. You can ensure that the motors rotate in the same direction by connecting the yellow-blue-green motor connection cables differently. The other method is to connect the cables in the same way and rotate one of the motors in the opposite direction. You can set the motor to rotate in the opposite direction from the brain-controlled reversing mode. I recommend the first method. I would be happy if you subscribe to my channel and recommend it. Tork ister istemez düşüyor. Hız olarak çap büyüdüğünden çap orantısına bağlı olarak artıyor. Aslında ufak bir test yaptım, 36 volt kullanarak, yakında 48 volt kullanarak test yapı cam, videosunu çekip yayınlayacağım.

Man I have been searching all day with no luck, do you know if this can be done to a 8.5 wheel? I have an all terrain 8.5 that I would like to get air filled tires on. Any Ideas?

I did something like this. I can say it was successful. I also did the test, but I did not try with 48 volts. I think I can get more torque if played with 48 volts. It can be used easily on flat roads, but it may not give enough torque on sloping roads. It may be weak. I would appreciate if you subscribe to my channel and recommend it.

The reason I put two motors is to increase the power. One motor is only 350 watts, when I put two I get 700 watts of power.

Actually it may not overheat due to the dual motor, I haven't done a very long test. You have to test and see.

@@DiyTv77 hi, in my experience with reusing many hoverboard motors they do tend to overheat and demagnetize quite quickly. So try to keep the motor load and amps down. Running slowly on flat ground should be ok. Keep up the good work! Reuse, repurpose, recycle :-)

Tek motor olsaydı dediğiniz doğru, cok verimli olamayabilirdi. İki adet 350 Watt motor kullanıyorum. Toplamda 750 watt oluyor. Bundan daha düşük watt elektirikli bisikletler olduğuna göre ve teker çapı benim kullandığımdan daha büyük. Deneyeceğiz ve görücez. Çok yakında test videolarını koyarım...

No, I tested it with 36 volts, I couldn't get the torque I wanted. It didn't give me what I wanted because the country I was in was rugged. It can be a suitable project for straight roads. I will test with 48 volts and project if I can get the power I want.

Saludos cordiales desde Perú 🇵🇪, vi que al inicio de esté video pusiste tres tamaños de llantas de mismo tamaño de ⭕ aro, , Me podrías pasar por favor el link de dónde podría conseguir o comprar yo necesito una qué tenga cámara , pero exactamente no se cuál es el tamaño adecuado para la llanta de hoverboard de 6,5 " pulgadas que tiene mi hoverboard lo hice así en scooter 🛴 pero golpea mucho por éso quiero cambiar con la qué tiene aire me puedes dar al menos un código de llanta por allí vi uno qué decía 4:10/3.50-5 la verdad que desearía un código que sea el correcto ya que compré una pero no le hace al aro....y no quiero errar nuevamente ( no estoy para tirar dinero, ésa es mí verdad) gracias por tu honesta cualquiera que sea tú respuesta, gracias...
