Yoo, releasing your gas like that all at once is gonna freeze up your seals SUPER fast and possibly crack. Just fire off the shots as you normally would. I'm sure you can dry fire it if you'd like but might aswell send some bbs out down range while your at it hahah

You have to perfectly aim the gold thing reverse it so that it's perfectly upside down and press for 5 to 10 sec (it will last longer this way because you are transferring green gas in it's liquid form this way, so you will be able to have more)

So.. i just got my first ever airsoft gun today. A 5.1 hi capa. I fill the mag up with green gas. Everythings all good but then when i fire the slide gets stuck halfway back and ALL the gas shoot out of the side and front of the barrel. :( I have no idea what the problem is...

The blue thing is silicon oil / lubricant, not gas. The reason he uses it is because propane by itself doesn’t have any lubricating oil, which is bad for the gun. Green gas however has it already so u don’t need the extra oil

@Albo I have been doing extensive research due to gin laws forth coming and have been finding as many lies throughout search engines like google as I do in KZfaq. So i try to ask those in the know. Folks posting valid videos on youtube are more likely correct than some excerpt found on Google with no past credentials other than what they claim... and often times they are simply selling themsrlves.

That's the whole idea of airsoft: to shoot 6 mm BBs. Each green-gas magazine contains a small gas tank, adjacent to the array of BBs. Once you detach the mag from the replica, there's no way that it can shoot. This makes a gas-powered replica differ from an AEG type, in which you still have the battery inside the replica. What you typically do is prepare a stack of mags before you go out to training or a skirmish, by filling up your mags with green gas or propane (green gas is propane too, but with the added benefit of silicone oil). Or, you carry a green gas canister and fill your empty mags whenever you see fit. You want more than one mag, as it will be empty very soon. The gas inside the mag can go two refills of BBs, or just a bit more than one, depending on the fill capacity. If you fill them not entirely, it will go with just one mag capacity, typically 30 shots. You will notice the decrease in muzzle velocity with each shot.
