How To Put Halo Headlights On Your 2008-2011 Ford Focus SES

Step 1: Get a Flathead screwdriver and a 10mm socket wrench
Step 2: Pop the hood and remove plastic plugs that hold the grille in place
Step 3: Remove grille and unscrew bolts holding headlights in place
Step 4: Pop the Headlights off and unplug every connecting cable to the old headlights
Step 5: Plug the cables into the new headlights !!Check if halos are working!! If not Remove the green plug in and rotate it around!!
Step 6: Secure the headlights in place
Step 7: Show off

Unscrew Headlight bolts: (1:04)
Take Headlights Off: (1:18)
Plug New Headlights In: (1:57)
If Halos Aren't Working!!!!: (2:19)
Secure Headlights: (2:37)

OOOOOOOH MY GOD GAMING for sure man I appreciate it! Mine’s an SE but I cut the two mufflers, the resonator, and the lunchbox off and threw on a glasspack and it’s loud af lol, it’s on my channel if you’re interested in seeing it. I thought it was gonna sound like shit but it crackles and actually has a deeper tone than I thought it would for a i4!

been looking for a problem on my 2011 focus for the ccfl halo headlights and i think imma messa round with that green plug you were talking about. my passenger one is starting to give out and the side markers are very low on light. if it works this video is a BIG help ! lol

howd you get the upper grille back on and make it flush with the bumper cover? i just got a new grille and when i removed it the bumper cover underneath like just fell and there’s no way it’s going back up maybe it’s just me and it was in a wreck before or i’m missing something. i have a 2009 ford focus ses sedan.

3 months late so it’s hard to tell if you still have said ses but I was having the same issue when I installed mine today which I went for the amerilite which are significantly cheaper than anzo but with better reviews. Anyway, the wires/connector in the far upper side of the headlight comes out with a very small bulb in it. Take the small bulb out and that is where the green connect goes. The bulb however is a bit tedious and I had to gently wiggle it out with some pliers as it was to small for my hands/fingers to firmly grip and pull. Hope this helps if you still haven’t figured it out.

These are a H9 bulb, it comes with them. I have them here and are going to put leds in place of them for the fact that they supposedly like to burn up the connectors.

Are these halogens brighter than stock? Also, are these better than LEDs? Looking to replace mine, but idk which way to go. Either LED or halogen. But I need an honest opinion. Money is coming in but not fast enough to earn ifykwim.

Yes the halogens are brighter than the stock lights. I wouldn’t say they’re better than LEDs but they do look a lot better on the car. The LEDs would be much brighter.

@@omgg9193 i have the extra plug but it looks like you have some kind of blue piece on your green plug. mine isn’t fitting into the plug that’s left for it. any ideas?
