UPDATE: So i've noticed in the comments a lot of the same questions keep reoccurring, so here are most of them answered for you!
'How much did they cost?' - $150 AUD
'Where can i buy them?' - Either the ColourVue website or at any professional SFX makeup store
'Are these safe?' - Yes! These lens' are 100% safe to use. The contacts expire after 6 months and is recommended to wear no longer than 5 hours at a time. A lot of people have been ranting on how 'unsafe' these are. These particular lens' by THIS particular brand (i am not vouching for any other contacts except the one i am showing in the video) are professional cosmetic lens' which again are 100% safe when inserted correctly, cleaned with correct saline solution and stored correctly.
Obvious other hygiene safety practices like washing hands thoroughly before use and applying lens BEFORE applying any makeup, will prevent bacteria from getting on the lens!
'How do you remove the lens?' - Same way you remove any other contact lens. Make a pinching motion over the eye and the lens will come straight out.

kids life I remove my contacts by pushing them toward the side so that a small crease forms, then I gently pinch the crease and pull the contacts out. This becomes a normal thing after a while, and it becomes easier to put them in and take them out. (I wear normal contacts in case you were asking about the big lenses) -Iris

I wear some contacts some times and you don't gotta be scared...I was affraid to but the contact is so light and thin that you dont gotta be affraid.

Natty Shu your eye doctor will measure your eyes so your lenses will fit the curve of your eyeball just right and you won't have to poke or push it around and the doc will teach you how to put them in without poking your eye and to take care of them too. Normal contacts are much littler than the ones in this video, too. I'd say try it, and if it freaks you out too much after you talk to your eye doc then don't get them, but it's worth looking at.

My eyes got itchy and teary while I was watching this video. I guess they don't like the idea of me wearing those contact lenses ;-;

That's how I felt before I put in the smaller coloured contacts in the first time, but after the burning subsided (a couple of minutes later) I couldn't even tell I was wearing them.the only thing that gives it away with the coloured ones is if you're somewhere dark and your pupils dilate. You can see the rim of the colour covering part of your pupil. By the way, I'm convinced the burning when you put them in the first time is from the fluid they are stored in for sale. If you wash them with quality contact solution before wearing, it doesn't burn anywhere near as much.

@@Elriuhilu thats the complete opposite mate, its when you go into light areas your pupil goes the size of the tip of a pencil, dark areas will make them look more realistic

@@Llintius I was talking about from the point of view of the person wearing them. Others might see your real iris when your pupil shrinks, but when your pupil dilates you can actually see the rim of the coloured part of the contacts.

I got these and I had never put in contacts before. I lifted up my upper lid first and pushed it up and then lifted my lower lid and slid it into place. Took like 2 minutes. No irritation at all I love them and spent the extra money to get ones that last 6 months. 🥰🥰

I just put in sclara contacts for the first time and my eyes are tearing like none other... at first they felt super uncomfortable everytime you move your eye you feel it hit the sides of your lids... they have been in for 15 minutes now and tearing went away they still feel goofy but not really "uncomfortable"
