Here's a new video showing how to put in black sclera contact lenses! :) These lenses come from Eyesbright, however, they are not for sale on their website. Eyesbright only sells scleras to trained professionals, such as makeup artists, fx artists, and performers. You should still check out there page to see all of their other designs! eyesbright.com/

Thanks for posting this! Your method of insertion worked well for me; I dont wear contacts at all, so it was a bit of a challenge, but I pulled it off. I had one question -- Should the lens be sitting completely flat over your eye at all times? The ones I got seemed to be slightly pinched right next to my tearduct. It was never so uncomfortable that I couldnt wear them for a few hours, just curious.

Jfdskfsdkf the sound of the moisture trapped between the lens and the eye as you put them in...the blinking has me a little more confident to put mine in, as I keep blinking and knocking them out due to being startled

I absolutely love those contact lenses. I would wear those in place of sun glasses any day! Not to mention the shock factor from passer-bys would be fun to enjoy! It's unfortunate that you have to be within a specific profession in order to obtain them, but I guess that eliminates them from being over used. They wouldn't have the same effect on people if everyone is wearing them on the streets! =) But I still really need a pair!!!

I thoroughly enjoy paying a woman a GENUINE compliment, and just going about my day: it's not something I do all the time so i know its genuine to me when I really feel someone is worth my attention to compliment. It's also HILARIOUS to see reactions at times- when they react all stuffy or weird Haha- it's like, "WHOA! You ain't THAT hot!" ALWAYS makes me laugh as I walk away. I noticed a girl once staring at me all the way out to board my plane, like waiting for me to come back- or when a woman responds positively and appreciates it- that's sweet. But you never know who NEEDS to hear a stranger say something nice to them: On one of my worst days in my life, a little old lady smiled at me walking by, and I couldn't help smiling back and feeling instantly better. It costs nothing to be GENUINELY kind- not gushing hormones out your words 😆. For me, it should be the same as when I say "I'll trade you!" [On my motorcycle] to a guy in an AWESOME, Obviously more valuable cool old or custom car I like, when I tell a guy "You look sharp, sir." Because I genuinely like his clothes, when I tell an old lady "Your dress is BEAUTIFUL.", cuz it is, and DUDE- women's fingernail colors are the UMTIMATE color chip reference for custom car and bike paintjobs- they've got WAYY cooler colored stuff than guys! 🤣🤣 If a woman is REALLY that gorgeous, I'll talk to her and see where it goes. Full-circle, though- this gal absolutely worth the random compliment to me.🤷‍♂️😂

Thanks your technique worked for me I also found that pulling your lids both top and bottom once in a while helps settle your eyes once they are in or after a while of being in.

These look BEYOND AWESOME! I'd like to get some for performances someday, maybe some fangs. Dressing up like this is a lot of fun sometimes. You really can't wear them for more than four hours though? How long of a break do you have to take every four hours? I'm also looking into "normal" contacts with cool effects.

I don't know who Dean is, buy you could try wearing sunglasses to cover your eyes, so that it doesn't ruin the look. Just tell people it's to hide your dark eyes which will scare them off. Maybe a mask could work?

(Ah Dean...) There isn't much that a cosplayer can do if you want that black eye effect. What you can do is make the mark of Cain with liquid latex and makeup, dress up in layers, style your hair (etc.) Then either put on sunglasses, have the blade with you, or both ^.^ this isn't much help, I know...

i can keep them in for like 12 hours without pains or anything? or is there a maximum amount of hours that i can wear it?

I was going to do something like this for Halloween at my job. I work at Walgreens and I actually showed one of my co-workers your pictures with the black eyes and he about flipped his lid, so I really want to do this for Halloween 2017 but the big issue is that I work six and a half hours, but I do have a lunch break that last for half an hour. so I am asking the question: is this plausible or should I try something else?

Question going to a convention, and using them for 9 hrs. Is it best to get try em for 4 hrs and letting my eyes breath for 1hr, and try em again another 4 hrs?
