Dust absorber, fancy name for a sticker..

0:13 Remove JoyCons and anything plugged into the Switch before doing any of this.

After trying for 45 minutes and peeling it back and reapplying I threw the screen protector against a wall and decided I don't need one.

Worked on the first try, didn't even take 5 minutes :) I hope everyone else has the same luck!

I' just looking at this because i'm going to buy that travelling case that you get a screen protector with.

I'd actually recommend a slightly different procedure. Most of the video is accurate, but the "hinge" method is a far easier way to line it up. You line it up manually first, then when it's lined up perfectly you put the stickers in such a way that they form a little hinge. This keeps it in place and makes it so the screen is applied from one side, preventing quite a few air bubbles.

Great installation video. I emphasize that you want to apply this in the cleanest, dust-free enviornment you can find. I accidently forgot to turn off my cieling fan while I was applying one of my Nintendo Switch Screen Protectors and a little speck found its way onto the screen and made a pretty good sized air bubble. Good thing it came with two of them.

I have never put on a screen protector before and have been happy with the results until I purchased these! Just did 2 of them and I couldn’t be more happy. Watch the tutorial and take your time. Great purchase! I was sick of looking at air bubbles while I gamed!

I always struggle getting these on my devices, but this time I actually followed the tip about using the alignment stickers and slowly lowering it onto the device and wow, this was easy! Thanks for the video 🙂

You just helped me apply the piranha screen protector for my switch OLED! Didn't get it perfectly aligned due up lousy guide stickers, but the adhesive on that protector forced out all the air from one side and outwards on its own as it was attaching to the screen, which was cool to watch

I somehow did it perfectly the first time. No dust, no bubble, perfectly aligned, just perfection. Gotta flex this in the future.

I have to say this actually saved my Switch's screen. When it fell down I was horrified to see the screen shattered. A line appeared from top to bottom across the screen plus a few extra dents here and there. I even made an order online with Nintendo to get it replaced but the cost was around $100 and I didn't have the money at the time for that so I waited. It was after around three weeks that I remembered that my Switch had a protector and I wondered if some of those shattering happened only on the surface. What a pleasant surprised did I get when I removed the thing off to find that my Switch's screen was unscathed. That certainly was a great relief, and so I am back here watching this tutorial getting ready to place another protector on...

i personally prefer one sticker to make hinge and then put it from one side to another side. Your video helped a lot anyway!

Hi there! Great video. May I know after you used the Dust Absorber. Am I required to clean the screen again with a fiber cloth or straight proceed to the next step in installing the screen protector? And would the dust absorber leave any adhesive stain?

Well,i installed my screen protector,and it has 0 bubbles. Thank you! But there some bright dots that i really cant take out,but they dont annoy that much,so i keep it there. But there's anyway i can take these off?

Glass is very easy to install mine fit like a glove perfect position and glass leave no air bubbles like i fought with plastic protectors they are hell to install.

I literally saw a recommended shopping ad on my KZfaq... that says "Sony Nintendo Switch Tempered Glass" for 2$

the protector is good but the thing is prying the corner causes slight fold on the corner of the screen protector which makes it difficult for the adhesive to attach itself again.. I tried to pry the corner to release the bubbles and that happened to mine..

What do you do when you had to lift a corner of the screen protector and now it won't stick back down to the screen? I can't find any video about this issue.

This is harder than I thought. I botched my first try. The second try was a little better & my third was worse than my second but I only had one left (4-pack) & I was worried my fourth attempt had the potential to end terribly so I stayed. Somehow something always gets underneath the glass, no matter how minuet. On my second attempt I saw a spot underneath, took it of, went for a third and had a few spots again but I resigned to just leaving it be (on my switch lite).

Got this screen protector. First time I was actually able to put one on and able to remove ALL the bubbles pretty easily, plus it was SUPER cheap. I'm satisfied 👍 Just wish I got one sooner to save my switch from the awful dock scratch marks ;^;

Any instructions paperwork that comes with it it gives two different instructions one for a phone one for a tablet but I cannot find instructions for a tablet here on KZfaq

DO NOT PRY OPEN THE CORNER! Just gently swipe the bubble to the nearest edge of the screen protector. It takes some time but is better than destroying the adhesive on the screen protector

Got excited for my package to arrive The package came I watched this video Perfect on my first try but had some dot of dust beneath it Removed it... Reapplied it. . Reapplied it anxiously.... Reapplied it with a lot of frustration (bubbles started to appear) Bubbles wont die 2 hrs later. THREW THE TEMPERED GLASS ITS SO SAD I NEED SOME COMFORT

As someone who always uses screen protectors on every Nintendo unit, ALWAYS put on latex gloves to avoid oily fingerprints, and make sure you have steam in your bathroom to eliminate the floating lint.... From landing on your unit. Last but not least take your time...

Spray a little soap/water on the protector and switch screen. Apply protector. You can actually move it around to line up. Than use credit card ect ect to squeeze the air pockets out, let dry

How to remove it?

I ended up with a fat bubble I can’t get rid of. I’m so bummed out. Edit: I got the bubble out but ended up with some sort of mark on the screen. It’s tiny but it still bugs me a bit. Oh well now I’m just slightly bummed out.

Well I horrifically fucked mine up and wasted mine and got to many bubbles so fuck it...had to keep re applying it then it just got dust on it and the adhesive wouldn’t stay so I guess it’s just going back to micro fiber cloth and water wipe after using the dock...

mine left a massive air bubble in the middle that would not go away (i removed all dust, and could not see it)... was forced to pull it off, and then it broke even though i was careful. this was my second switch, the first switch the protector was done perfectly, this time, it was shite. getting refund.
