I’ve been lusting over a pair of Chanel slingbacks for years now and finally pushed myself to buy them. I’ve never tried them on so it was such a gamble to buy online.
I got them from Queensluxury on Instagram and the seller recommended the size 38.5 (I’m a size 38 on the Hermes Oran).
And since we’re still on lockdown and wanted to be more productive with my time at home and protect these expensive shoes at the same time, I decided to put sole protectors on them.
I purchased the glazed sole protectors from Preservee PH. They gave me a free pair of (tiny) scissors which was helpful in my installation. However, I find a thread nipper easier to use because it’s sharper.
There are 2 ways to install the sole protectors:
A) Trace, Cut & Stick
B) Stick & Cut
Preservee PH charges an installation fee as well if you’re too lazy or scared to do it yourself. :)
