This is a very helpful straight to the point tutorial on how to use and upload samples to Serato.all you need to do is just download some samples and upload them to the software. very simple and very helpful. Thanks.

I came out of retirement as a DJ six months ago, so I'm still getting Serato down to a science. Don't even miss carrying 1200s around with 10 creates of records. This computer era is making it a lot easier on the back.

Greg Thomas Hi. Where are you keeping your samples? Make sure your samples are saved on your computer and not a external hard drive because when you open up Serato DJ and the external hard drive is not plugged in, it won’t load your samples. Just make sure ur samples is on your computer. I hope this helped. Let me know.

That is a good question. Serato has been updated so much and I never used the lite version. I bought the software so I can use all of its features. If it doesn't work for the lite, I recommend buying the Pro. I hope this helps.

Using Serato how did you get your music from iTunes onto the soft ware

Go to your settings and in settings click on library and Displays. Make sure Itunes is checked. Let me know if this helped

I edit my samples in my “DAW” Studio One. You can do it in any music editing software. I hope this helps

Put all your samples in a folder and place them somewhere where you can get to them when you upload them to Serato DJ. Please make sure your samples are on your laptop and not a jumpdrive or harddrive.

If it's not a MP3 try converting it into an MP3. You can use iTunes for that.

Telly Lee ok. Add ur samples some where on your laptop and follow this video. You can’t add samples to a controller. You have to add it to the software.
