Got a silly question regarding the spring on the coilover. I had a shop install my front coils and noticed that the QA1 logo on the spring is oriented upside down on one side. I assume that indicates the spring was installed upside down. Is this anything to worry about? Seems to me that the spring rate is the spring rate, regardless of which end of the spring is up or down, and maybe I shouldn't let an upside down logo bother me, but I also would prefer a little bit better attention to detail from a professional.

Not a silly question! Never hurts to ask. Your spring will work just fine the way it was installed.

In the video, about 7:58, you where talking about the locating pin for the lower "A" arm shaft. I have a 67 G20 and putting together the shaft, boots and nuts into the lower control arm. The holes are off-set by about 1/4", not straight across. I know the front of the shaft fits the pin, but on the bench without the truck disassembled and want to install it correctly. (One left / one right) With the shaft centered in the "A" arm, rubber boots installed, nuts torqued to book specs W/O spacer says 130 ft. lbs. the shaft should little or no play front to rear within the control arm. Turning the shaft for the alignment hole to face the front, has me slightly confused. I did a 67 C10 and if I remember, there where two holes for mounting on either side, but straight across...I am over-thinking this or have you seen this on replacement aftermarket shafts with metal nut bushing before. Thoughts? Thanks for the video, all good info! (Yes, I have GM factory manual for 1967 C10 trucks and is not clear)

Ok. The OEM "A" arm shaft and bushings have one hole at front, but the aftermarket shaft/bushing kit comes with two that after measuring are about 3/16" off from one end to the other. Confusing for 1978 ASE Master Tech / retired. Installing C20 lower "A" arms for disc brakes on 67 C10 with steering knuckles & rotors from 88-98 GMT400 / 00-02 Express with same 1 1/4" rotors, 11" O.D. and caliper with 2 15/16" piston, GVW 7200 truck / GVW 7300 Van. This is 6 lug, 5.5" pattern. The reference to "spacers" maybe the heavy duty lower control arms come with gusset on bottom between lower BJ & spring pocket, then side of "A" arm where shaft bushings screw in. Will take photos. Thanks / will call.

Good capture but the volume is all over the place. I suggest a re render w/your audio level better controlled. I had a difficult time watching w/o waking up the family because I couldn't control the erratic volume levels. I'm hoping u will add EPS rack in later videos & delete the PS pump & all associated w/it.

What spindles and front brakes did you use? Are they dropped (2-2 1/2"), if not can you use dropped spindles with out killing the handling? Great setup, well done. (R.I.P. Bruce Neilsen)
