Thank you. Finally a video that explains walking foot quilting clearly. I have found that it's a whole lot easier if you can put another table at right angles to the table your machine is on. You can then rest the bulk of the quilt weight on that side table and reduce drag significantly. My other tip would be to always go slowly. Walking feet walk, they don't run well lol.

I love this way of teaching! I always extend my stitch length to use my walking foot and end up with uneven stitches that I’m not real happy with. Ready to try a 2.5 on test fabric. I also love the in the ditch with the echo. I’m going to try for this project and I cannot wait! Thank you!!!!!

My batting says it should be stitch every 4 inches so for a 9 inch square how would that work

That's really close, mine says 10". But I would do stitch in the ditch, and then all the diagonals :)
