I start work at an aerospace workshop in 2 weeks this saved me so much trouble of not knowing how to use calipers. Thank you so much for keeping it slow and easy enough to understand.

A red marker would be easier to read on your projection board for better contrast against the black caliper text, especially where your markups interact with the black lines and text.

using this guys terminology, lets say the calipers read something like: 2.000" inch 0.300 dollars 0.075 quarters 0.000 cents we get 2.375 inches how do you include cents into this? for instance: 2.000" inch 0.300 dollars 0.075 quarters 0.007 cents do you add the 0.007 cents onto the 0.075 quarters for 2.382 inches?

Are imperial and english system the same?
@FrankHurtAuto5 жыл бұрын
No, imperial (inches) is American and metric (millimeters) is English
@keirfarnum68114 жыл бұрын
FrankHurtAuto I think she’s asking about the old English system (before they adopted metric) which is where Imperial came from; which is why it’s called “imperial.” It’s from the old British empire.
@keirfarnum68114 жыл бұрын
Yes. It’s called “imperial” because it came from the British empire.
