Thanks brother! I got an 08 Avalon limited. The lower port is between the engine and the fan. A little hard to find but totally worked! In the past it costed me over $100 to fill at Castrol and the technicians tried really hard to convince me it’s the compressor problem and do an A/C check.

Be very careful with one's hand near the radiator cooling fans, belts, and the hot engine. Perhaps shut the engine off and safely remove a battery terminal before hooking up the AC recharge unit to help prevent injury or worse to one's hand. Also, be careful with removing a terminal of a car battery. Thanks for making this video. It was helpful :)

Thank You so much. I called at least 10 places and they wanted about 200.00 give take for the AC clean and check and 200.00 to fill with freon. I did it myself for 50.00 plus now I own the gauge too. So if they found any issues of course it would be more. I am so very happy. Your place for the lower fill port was a different location but find the spot and follow your instructions an all worked well. best video I found on this

Compressor keeps shutting off because it's on low pressure if you knew what you're doing you could put a jumper in there and keep the compressor going to make it go ahead and suck in the new . Refrigerant quicker instead of waiting there all day for the gauge to click back-and-forth

Same thing just happened on my ride.. Was not the compressor or the charge was a stupid fan that controls the dual AC feature that was kinda going out under the dash located near your driver side gas pedal

My problem is when I try to turn the AC on the car dies on me. I think my air compressor is bad. At the moment I don’t have the money or time to get it fixed. Can I just unplug the compressor and deal with the heat until I can get it fixed?

if you are adding Freon and you cant get into the green or just into the green then drops its a bad leak . if it fills like knights then its usually a very small leak so that fill could last a season or two .

I have an 06 Avalon. The driver side is warm passenger side cold. The actuator on driver side wasn’t spinning. So I removed it and let ur hang like another video said to do for a quick fix. Still not changing the temp , maybe I need to charge it?? Please help
