WHITE GUNSHIP (FROM SCRATCH + SHARED PARTS REMOVED)
*Pieces for accurate bubble turret:*
DELETE these pieces from the parts list on Bricklink:
- 2x Cylinder Hemisphere 4 x 4 (White)
- 8x Brick, Modified 1 x 1 with Studs on 2 Sides, Adjacent (White)
- 2x Plate, Round 2 x 2 with Rounded Bottom (Boat Stud) (White)
- 2x Slope 30 1 x 2 x 2/3 (White)
- 8x Slope, Curved 1 x 2 (White)
ADD these pieces from the parts list on Bricklink:
- 4x Tile, Modified 1 x 1 with Open O Clip (Light Bluish Gray)
- 2x Windscreen 4 x 4 x 1 2/3 Canopy Half Sphere with Bar Handle (Trans-Clear)
- 2x Tile, Round 2 x 2 with Hole (Light Bluish Gray)

Hey guys, if you have any further questions or concerns about making these modifications please drop them in the comments below and I'll do my best to answer as many as possible. Also if there are any errors or feedback you'd like to mention regarding the video (e.g. quality, audio, helpfulness, etc) feel free to let me know as I only want to improve moving forward. The parts lists for changing cone colour from white to dark red for accuracy and for accurate bubble turrets are in the video description. I know the wait for this video was long for some of you so I truely thank you for your patience. When pasting any parts list to BrickLink and an error like this appears: "The following items in the XML file are invalid or do not exist in the Bricklink Catalog." Please fix the following errors: Item No: 3062b Item No: 3069b Item No: 3069bpb0777 Item No: 3070b DO THE FOLLOWING: 1. Copy the part code that BrickLink shows you as an error message when you try to upload your Wanted List. Paste it into the Bricklink search bar for the correct part code. Bricklink updates their part codes so when you paste the "error" code you'll immediately be shown the right part. Click on that part and you'll notice that the "error" code you just pasted is now categorised as "Alternate Item No". The correct code will be shown next to the "Item No". Copy the new/alternate part code. 2. Open the faulty XML file with a text edit program. 3. Click ‚cmd F‘ to open a search bar within the file contents. 4. Search for the faulty part code that BrickLink shows you with an error message when you try to upload the Wanted List. 5. Delete the faulty part code and replace it with the new one. 6. The parts list can now be uploaded to BrickLink.

Love the mods. Quick question is the gunship still swooshable without the handle? I ask since I don't have the gunship yet to test and swooshability is fairly important to me.

How much did it cost to make the gunship white with having already the corasant guard one?

@@bionicvulcan Yes. Whoever designed the original gunship, built it like a tank so it most definitely is swooshable with no problems. Just hold the gunship with both hands from the bottom or by the wings and you'll be fine.

@@Owenb243 I can't really say because I built my white gunship from scratch which cost me like $110AUD since I had half of the parts. I'd assume it's within the $50 to $70USD range.

I already got the gunship recolour and I absolutely love it! Imo it looks even better than the 2013 version I have next to it.

Really hope this video blows up, I actually wanted a regular color Republic Gunship, but I am very satisfied at what we got. I'm glad this is available, so in case I need modified a few thing here and there, it'll be there done and about. Awesome video valorbuilds 👍👏

Hey, I just noticed you put the wrong color for your parts list in your video description. In your description it says these pieces are dark bluish gray but in your video you use light bluish gray: 2x Tile, Round 2 x 2 with Hole (Dark Bluish Gray) - 2x Plate, Round 2 x 2 with Axle Hole (Dark Bluish Gray) - 2x Dish 2 x 2 Inverted (Radar) (Dark Bluish Gray)

When I tried copying the xml it lead to an error saying - The following items in the XML file are invalid or do not exist in the Bricklink Catalog. Please fix the following errors: Item No: 3068b Let me know what I did wrong? Do I have to remove 3068?

This has been an issue for me and a couple of other people. I don't know why this is happening now when it was fine before. But yes, try removing 3068/identifying which part that is and try again. Keep me updated on what happened!

Same here man. Damn I’m so sorry about this. It’s actually so annoying cause I had this video planned out for a while only for a Bricklink error to occur a couple days later. I’ll try and figure it out if not I’ll try finding another source for a parts list or something.

There are other mods apart from the color swap and there are cirtain areas that remain red or swap to a different color for example on the nose it goes from light grey to lime.

@@user-ft6vu4gk2p The head room is just right if you compare it to the one in the movies. Also the head room in a such a small place needs to be tall so pepole can breathe
