There are three ways you can record the electric piano onto your computer:
1. You can use a microphone, using your phone microphone or a professional mic.
2. You can use the Line-Out on your piano or use the microphone jack.
3. You can use the digital piano's MIDI capabilities.
This is complicated, I'll try and make it simpler:
If you want to record your piano's AUDIO, and not the MIDI signals:
If your PIANO has a 1/4 inch line-out or headphone jack AND your COMPUTER HAS a blue line-in port, you can use this cable:
amzn.to/3hfssQa
If your PIANO has a 1/4 inch line-out or headphone jack AND your COMPUTER does NOT have a blue line-in port, then you have two primary options:
* amzn.to/3VKp0Mt -- This is the Behringer to USB. If your piano only has ONE line out, then you can just use the L cable and it should still work but you won't have STEREO sound. The sound will be distributed between both speakers evenly.
* amzn.to/3Wmngcj -- This is an audio interface. You'll have a lot of flexibility but it's a lot more expensive. Some cheaper models exist.
If your PIANO has an 1/8th inch headphone jack AND your COMPUTER has A blue line-in port, you can use this straight through cable:
amzn.to/3W2hoof
If your PIANO has an 1/8th inch headphone jack AND your COMPUTER DOES NOT have a blue line-in port, you can use the Behringer cable with an adapter:
* amzn.to/3VKp0Mt PLUS amzn.to/3UELAot
* Otherwise, you can use an audio interface amzn.to/3Wmngcj
