I’ve been using Riverside for a little while now but haven’t gone too deep into the editing tools. Had no idea you could edit the transcript and it’ll also take out the corresponding video portion. That’s amazing. Thank you.

Would love to see your post processing for a video podcast, particularly any audio clean up you do after you download it out of riverside, both adjustments better-quality mics and how you handle audio when a guest has a noticeably lower audio quality than yours and how to make that difference less noticeable.

Thanks Tyler, amazing video. A few things: -Tripod: what’s the tripod you’re using for your XLR microphone. I’m using Goby tripods, but not that happy about it (use too much space on the desk, could look more minimalist/nice) -Mic: surprised you don’t mention/use a Shure SM7B as it’s the most used premium mic. Or is Logitech one of your sponsors? 😜 -Riverside: would have been good to see the downsides/limitations as well, even if it’s sponsored. I’ve tried it and it’s still very buggy (hard to connect, stream disconnecting, most features/UX feel in beta, 20€/month minimum). It’s the best option out there but still not that perfect as it sounds

Hi Tyler. My podcast has three main hosts, and we always record in the same room. We run 3 xlr mics into one mixer that feeds one audio line into Logic Pro, and then we also do 3 canon cameras for video feed that I edit with Final Cut multicam. Using our current setup, how would you recommend we go about using riverside to bring in a remote guest?
