Hi - I have a Rothenberger 400gr tank (the blue one) but have had no luck filling it with both a hose-type adapter and the solid brass adapter. Do you know if there is any anti-refill valve on any of these “tall” 400gr canisters? Thanks.

I forgot to mention the adapter it's worth taking out the valve otherwise it's a pin prick hole and takes ages to fill one soon as the valve is taken out the adapter it flows freely, this is done with a flat head screwdriver or a socket depending on the brass adapter used

@@camocarpycuttzy Thanks for the reply. It looks like you have a non-EN12205 400g canister? Current canisters I think have an anti-refill valve.

No worries mate it is a do not refill bottle code nrc 228/286 400g but still works fine just depends down to the torch screw thread what you need

Of ebay but you can get many other types from bike and car shops it's just a standard valve tool

As long as you have the American version then it's same thread and valve only thing different it these are alot longer and more narrow

Forgot to ask roughly how many refils do ylu get before the valve gives up?

Unsure bud never gave up on me and I were using the same bottles over and over again constantly,one thing I did forget to mention in the vid the main adapter what joins to the big bottle take out the valve to increase the flow rate to the smaller bottles

Ok so I have an empty primus 2000 bottle. What connections and adapters do I need to fill it out from my large calor propane bottle?

Massive Calor gas bottle shortage as people stick them in the back of their sheds and garages, not returning them. I can't find an empty 19kg bottle anywhere and all local suppliers won't take on new contracts unless the customer already has the bottle. Madness.
