Amazing.... insightful video. Thank you. I just purchased a Noe Epi Black and am not reselling... but using her... thank you for the tips to spruce her up. I already took before pictures. Am also getting lobster claw snap hooks too. One thing to note is I have recent LV bags and the days of brass hardware are long gone. These vintage Noes are treasures.

I just took my ‘94 black epi noe into the store today to have them send it out to try to repair some glazing. They acted super hesitant and like they might not be able to re do it. This surprised me. I have some rubbing on the corners too and the said there’s nothing they can do about that. I was shocked about the lack of options for refurbishment and repair on the epi leather. They told me the empriente leather is the one they can “fix” and re glaze. I’ll remember that for my future purchases even tho I love epi so much! I also left a vintage cle in the same color way and hardware for a similar repair. Guess we will see what happens!

Hi Hunter, I was thinking of buying a used LV bag to restore, when you see the brass where it looks like part of the finish is missing rather than just tarnished do you still think it will shine up with Brasso?

Does anyone, especially you Hunter, know how to clear up a hand sanitizer stain on a green Epi? A little dropped & I didn’t realize it took off a bit of the color & left the drip stain until the next day! I immediately wiped it with soap & water, aside from the paint issue, it still shows a white drip mark. Of course, it’s right on the front. : if that bag is not in the leather's 'natural' color, then it has pigment in the leather or in this case the coating. it is impossible to say that the color you see on your formerly-white cloth is not they dye/pigment. that's exactly what it is and that's proof that whatever solvent you're using is too strong. just saying. : ]

I don’t envy the person who ends up buying this bag - first time they get caught in the rain with the bag, they’re going to have blue printer ink all over their Burberry :).
