Have you thought about using Angelus leather paint? They are acrylic based paints designed to flex and bend with the item. I do custom work on LV and that is my go to! Highly recommend!

You can always use a leather filler once it dries then the acrylic paint

Have you ever done the hot needle method? Everyone I know usually recommends dabbing a hot needle to the hairline cracks.

Love your channel. I have a LV bag and a nail file accidentally "pocked" thru the canvas just slightly - it is not a "hole" - it is a pin crick about less than a centimeter - there is no cracking on the bag - the canvas is in good shape otherwise.......

Would you recommend not purchasing a pre-loved item, such as a speedy, that has a tiny crack by the zipper? Or would this method not only cover it but protect it? Hi I bought a used palermo bag. A tiny piece of the vachetta/glazing in one of the bottom corners is worn to the rubber is about 1cm of that to prevent that from getting bigger what would you recommend? Is there anyway to restore dried vachetta leather shoulder straps? Bought a preloved Sac Shopping online, didn’t realize how dried the straps are, they looks clean, but no sheen or patina on them only dryness. Sad…I’m afraid to use it and ruining it further.

Thank you for this video. I bought a Speedy 40 bandouliere and I was shocked to find a 1/4” surface crack in the zipper area and several smaller cracks. I am deciding whether or not I want to keep it and repair the cracks or return it (the seller was sorry and offered to take it back as the damage wasn’t disclosed in the auction). Do you think it would be worthwhile to keep and repair or will the cracks spread further? Thank you in advance!
