Hi Ms. Le-an! Really appreciate your video and you made it very simple and easy to understand. I just have a question. I worked in BPO for 8 years, regularly paying my tax but last March 2020 ( during covid ), I resigned and stayed home for a while because of my kid. Now I just started to do a freelancing business and got my client in online jobs ph last April. Not so sure if I will start over as a business professional or need to do any changes from my previous employer?

But now po, I'm working as a freelancer na rin. How can I declare din yung income from Freelancing? Do you think it's necessary po?

Hello all, we are a German company that would like to work with Phillipine freelancers. Is it the case in the Phillipines that freelancers pay for their taxes and social security contributions independently or do we as a company have to pay something? We would like to get this right. And is there such a thing as "bogus self-employment" in the Phillipines? Many greetings from Germany

You can definitely offer paying for your PH employee for their taxes and contributions and ask for receipts if they have paid. You aren't obligated to since you're a foreign business, vs how it's by law for local business to do so. Bogus self-employment isn't really the term, but it is common for freelancers to hold off on paying until they're a bit more stable.
