Mine did this but then hangs forever at the very last part of the install bar. After a bit it pops error prompting to do the recovery install over again and then same over and over again.

Maybe try to enter it again? If that dosent work the only thing that could work is deleting your Macintosh HD and selecting APFS and reinstalling like that, Before doing Make a backup of your data.
